Gemstone sculpture - carved horse figurine - Chintamani If ever there is to be a spy novel or James Bond movie that includes lost treasures, intrigue, evil politicians, Tibetan monks, a rogue asteroid… Let your imagination go wild and it won’t even come close to the stories and religions attached to the Chintamani Stone. This ‘mystery stone’ found itself in a remote Tibetan monastery and in the forgotten underground city of Agarti. Claims exist that it was part of a shattered asteroid that hit the earth. It’s been worshiped by myriad Muslims - from the Trasilump Monastery a monk was convinced that this stone had been brought to Earth from a planet in the Syrian system. The stone is claimed to be irradiated, a radiation stronger than radium! More connections with the mysterious city, Shambhala (the mighty kingdom of the gods of heaven) are said to have been its secret hiding place.

Kings and queens, gods and goddesses adorn themselves with gemstone sculpture Chintamani, further elevating the mythical nature of the stone. Do the research and you’ll come to the conclusion that this stone IS one of the rarest Treasures of the World!

I want to share my insights to this piece of art, the artistic combination of rare gems and metals – and Chintamani:

The magnificent anatomy of this white stallion is accurate enough to be used as a reference model by art students. Cutting and fitting the glorious mane and tail are achievements in their own right – flawless! That mane wraps perfectly around the neck and ear. The animal’s stance is one of both force and timidity. It is as prized as its valued load - and yet it hesitates.

The miniature bridle, reins and harness are nearly microscopic! And yet they lack nothing for realism and details! Miniature coins dangle from the reins. To me the intricate metal work of the sword handle alone is astounding! It’s less than 2cm in height! The metal strap that holds the treasure box and scabbard is tiny… and flawless! (I don’t usually use that word often. But this piece!)

The sharp details of the ground and elegant foundation go almost unnoticed so beautiful and captivating are this large and dominating creature and its Treasures of the World!

And just where is this amazing and mystical stone? It’s the beautifully engraved package nestled on the horse’s back. Delicate intaglio – of course! The artist took such time and effort to get these tiny details embellishing this one Treasure!

Is this your best investment? Or the prize you cherish and hand down to your posterity? Call me today to begin your purchase.
