Height 42 cm
Materials: moss agate, jasper, ice quartz, flint, jade, petrified wood, Gazgan marble, carnelian. The plot of the work depicts the ancient Russian custom of presenting a glass of drink to a guest followed by kissing.  This was done by the wife of the owner of the house.
The work is based on the painting of the same name by the Russian painter of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Konstantin Makovsky.
