A Soldier of the Reserve Regiment, a replica after a model of the Carl Fabergé workshop, is assembled from jasper, brown jade, black jade, flint, silver, gold, sapphires and ruby. The bearded soldier, in a green peaked cap and a green tunic, stoops forward with his hands cupped to light the pipe between his lips. A rifle with fixed bayonet is slung at his shoulder, standing upright against him; a kettle and a rolled bundle hang at his hip, and he wears a pouch on his belt, green trousers and tall black boots.
