Meteorite Art & Sculpture

GEMS & CARVINGS explores the rare intersection between science, natural history and contemporary art.

Selected extraterrestrial material can become meteorite sculpture, meteorite art and meteorite carving, created by exceptional artists and master carvers.

Working with meteorites is fundamentally different from working with conventional stone. Their metallic structures, mineral inclusions, fractures and individual histories must first be understood and respected.

The purpose is not to overpower the natural material. It is to reveal it.

A successful meteorite sculpture carries two histories simultaneously: the ancient geological history of the Solar System and a new chapter created by the human hand.

Born in the cosmos. Shaped by time. Reimagined by human hands.

Meteorite Art unites matter older than Earth with contemporary artistic vision. Each creation is a dialogue across time — between the cosmos and the artist, the ancient and the human — giving new form to material that has travelled through space for billions of years.

THE UNIVERSE MAKES ITS MOVE

Meteorite Chess Set

Two meteorites. Two opponents. One game.

Sikhote-Alin, marked by its fiery descent to Earth, faces Seymchan, revealing the crystalline geometry hidden within extraterrestrial metal. Across a board of smoky and clear quartz, matter shaped in space becomes part of humanity’s oldest game of intellect and strategy.

Here, we make the moves — but the pieces belong to the universe.
