Gautama Buddha on a lotus, hand-carved from a single solid ametrine crystal from Bolivia. Matching the colours within the one crystal was the difficulty of the work: the white quartz became the lotus flower, and the amethyst, with touches of citrine, the Buddha's face. The leaves are carved from NC jade with a matte finish, and all the metalwork is hand-hammered gold vermeil.
