Bouquet Iris is assembled from rock crystal, Belorechensky quartzite, obsidian and jade, with gold, silver, diamonds and rubies: an iris in bloom and a closed bud on slender dark stems, with two long green leaves, standing in a clear test tube. The flower has cream upper petals flushed with orange at the heart and dark brown lower petals veined in white. The tube is held upright in a rectangular stand of clear plates and slender posts, set on a dark base with an irregular edge. The piece belongs to the series 'Life from a test tube'.
