Love Potion Nr. 41 is a hand-faceted and carved Namibian chalcedony bottle holding a mix of herbs, Amanita muscaria mushrooms, mandrake root, henbane, honey, beetle wings and roses, macerated inside it for months. The metalwork is gold vermeil, with ruby, rock crystal and agate.
Behind the recipe lies the wish to connect with others: people want to share their lives with someone because it gives their being a purpose, and looking for love is largely looking for someone worth sharing the good things of life with, at a depth that friendship does not reach.
Materials: Namibian chalcedony, gold vermeil, ruby, rock crystal, agate
Dimensions: 32 × 25 cm
